I have played over a thousand rounds at Sable Oaks..2019 would have been my 30th year of play there..Hated it when it first opened as it was soooo hard and punitive until the microburst of 1997 knocked down over 200 trees and they removed another hundred more..over the years they allowed the sand bunkers on a few holes to become grass bunkers and they removed the waste area on #12..I never tired of the challenges that Sable Oaks offered..My lone career hole in one was on #17.. I miss the course and the people terribly
