Cheers, Jeff. This story, as much as any other posted here, continues to find traction with folks. When you say you visited the site, do you mean you took a boat to Curtis Island, the former Curtis Hill? I think the Metropolitan District Commission is still responsible for the Quabbin&#039;s administration and operation. That&#039;s a place to start. Another would be the Swift River Historical Society, which conducts tours of the otherwise off-limits Prescott Peninsula. I bet those folks would know who would have to okay cleanup crews... h]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I just visited this site again after 40 years  (oct. 2021)  It is a shame that is being left to rot away.  It is emotional to stand there and feel the history and  see the amazing stone structure. I wish I knew who to contact to see about cleaning up all the fallen trees and saving what is left.]]></description>
